Training for Ethicists

There are many ethicists who wish to know about the various ethical categories and/or Professional Development.  These courses are appropriate for them.

There are many people with an earned doctorate who are interested in pursuing a career as a professional ethicist through the Association of Certified General Ethicists (CGE).  These courses are ideal for this purpose.  The Ethics Institute is presently the only institution that the CGE Association has granted the right to train prospective CGE members.

General Training in Ethics

People who have an interest in some of the subjects particularly through Professional Development the Certificate programme offers should feel free to take these from the Ethics Institute.

Ethicist – Professional Designation

All TEAM members are Certified General Ethicists (CGE).  The Association of Certified General Ethicists approves specific tertiary-level institutions whose doctorate programmes are approved.

Prospective CGE members who have not obtained a doctorate from one of the approved institutions will be required to fulfill the following certificate programme:

Do you have what it takes?  If so, send TEI information about yourself.

Do you have a doctorate?  Then you have an opportunity to join the TEAM, contact TEI to see if there is anything more that you have to do.  You will be encouraged to receive your CGE (i.e., Certified General Ethicist) professional designation to ensure your long term success.

Do you have experience in ethics, yet lack a doctorate?  Then contact TEI, and an assessment of your education and experience will be evaluated.  TEI will work with you in establishing a strategic plan that will allow you to work in the ethics field while earning your CGE (i.e., Certified General Ethicist) professional designation.
